Ana Nikitovic
Before dedicating herself fully to Pilates, Ana built a career as a contemporary art curator, a background that continues to shape her sensitivity to design, structure, and the creative process.
She has completed multiple comprehensive Pilates teacher trainings, including Smartbody Amsterdam (2014) and BASI (2019), and continues advanced study under her mentor Cara Reeser, one of the leading voices in Pilates education. Ana is completing the Movement Science Made Simple program by Cara Reeser and Jeremy Laverdure — an evidence-based graduate course integrating biomechanics, motor learning, and pain science with traditional Pilates principles.
Her continued education includes specialized studies in Pilates for Injuries and Pathologies, Scoliosis, Hypermobility, and Motor Learning, as well as somatic practices such as Feldenkrais, which she practices weekly.
Ana’s teaching is informed by two decades of movement exploration, a deep respect for the Pilates lineage — particularly Kathy Grant’s — and a clear, grounded belief: that movement should meet each body where it is and guide it toward resilience, strength, and awareness.
